Saya's Vigil
Saya's Vigil involves collecting Thousand-Year Fish Fragments on Earth's Plains of Eidolon. These fragments reveal lore about the Grineer, Ostron culture, and ancient tales, requiring only one scan per fragment to unlock their stories.
Saya's Vigil focuses on collecting Thousand-Year Fish Fragments found on Earth, specifically within the Plains of Eidolon. Each fragment requires only 1 scan to unlock its lore. These fragments provide insights into different aspects of the Origin System:
- Fragment Lore: Describes Grineer shock troops on the Plains, assisting in efforts to understand Eidolons, and their vigil over Grineer operations. They await the day the Eidolon's power can be used against Cetus.
- Onkko Transmission: Features a tale of Er-Phryah, a woman of the land, and Mer-Sah, a man of the sea. Mer-Sah understood the weight of time and received ancient gifts from Er. He was dedicated to finding the sacred in forgotten things and gained wisdom from them.
Another fragment, "Scavenging Way of Life," also found on Earth (Plains of Eidolon) and requiring 1 scan, details:
- Fragment Lore: The Ostron clade-families built a bastion from Orokin citadel bones, finding worth in discarded items. They believe everything can serve a second purpose.
- Onkko Transmission: Continues the tale of Mer-Sah, who, after decades, had a small collection of gifts that revealed the lifespan of a world. Through these, he struck an accord with sea creatures.
Beyond these fragments, various Objects can be scanned with a Codex Scanner, such as Storage Containers, Resource Caches, Kuva Siphons, Kuria, and Thousand-Year Fish.
