The Plague Ogryn is a massive, resilient foe that often appears as a mini-boss or a final objective in Assassination missions. It has high health and powerful melee attacks. Its main attacks include a ground slam, a sweeping melee combo, and a charge. It can also vomit corrosive bile.
Strategy:
- Dodge & Weave: Its attacks are slow but hit hard. Dodge sideways to avoid its melee swings and charge.
- Target Weak Spots: Aim for its head for critical damage.
- Manage Adds: The Ogryn will often be accompanied by a horde. Clear these quickly to avoid being overwhelmed.
- Stagger & Burst: Use abilities like the Ogryn's 'Bull Rush' or the Psyker's 'Brain Burst' to stagger it or deal significant damage.
- Maintain Distance (Ranged): Ranged characters should keep their distance and continuously fire at its head.
- Melee (Cautious): Melee characters can get in a few hits after it completes an attack animation, then dodge out.
Patience and coordinated fire are key to bringing down this hulking beast.
