The journey through Warhammer 40,000: Darktide is one of constant improvement. As you battle the forces of Chaos, you'll earn experience, acquire new gear, and unlock powerful upgrades that enhance your combat effectiveness. Mastering the progression system is key to becoming a formidable agent of the Imperium.

Your primary progression path involves earning experience points (XP) by completing missions, achieving secondary objectives, and performing well in combat. Accumulating XP levels up your character, unlocking new passive talents and increasing your base stats. These talent points can then be allocated in your character's unique talent tree, allowing you to customize your playstyle and specialize in certain areas.

Key Progression Systems:

1. Character Leveling:
   • Each mission completed grants XP, contributing to your overall character level.
   • Higher levels unlock more talent points and increase your base stats (e.g., Toughness, Health, Melee Damage).

4. Crafting and Re-rolling:
   • The Shrine is your central hub for weapon and curio customization. Here you can:
   • Re-roll Perks: Change the existing perks on a weapon or curio.
   • Add Blessings: Apply new blessings to your gear.
   • Extract Blessings: Remove a blessing from a weapon to keep it for later use.
   • Refine Perks: Improve the effectiveness of existing perks.
