When tasked with interacting with the Power Matrix, players will typically find it located in a desated area within the mission map. The objective usually involves a multi-step process. First, the squad must reach the Power Matrix's location, which may be guarded by a sificant number of enemies or require navigating through hazardous environments. Once the area is relatively secure, one or more interact with the Power Matrix console to initiate its reactivation sequence.
The reactivation process is not instantaneous. It often involves a timed sequence where players must defend the console and any allies interacting with it from waves of incoming enemies. The longer the reactivation takes, the more intense the enemy assault will become.
