The Avatar is the final boss of XCOM 2, a powerful psionic entity with high HP, armor, and devastating abilities like teleportation, mind control, and psionic blasts. It is always accompanied by powerful ADVENT and alien escorts. You must defeat three Avatars in the final mission, each appearing after the previous one is destroyed.
Strategy:
- Focus Fire: Prioritize the Avatar above all else.
- Stasis: Psi Operatives can use Stasis to temporarily remove it from combat.
- Mind Control: Use on its escorts to turn them against ADVENT.
- Shred Armor: Grenadiers are crucial for reducing its defenses.
- High Damage Abilities: Rapid Fire, Null Lance, Chain Shot.
- Consumables: Use all your best grenades and heavy weapons.
