Archons are flying alien units with powerful plasma lances and a devastating 'Blazing Pinions' ability that calls down fire from the sky. They are highly mobile and can be difficult to hit. Their Blazing Pinions can quickly decimate a clustered squad. Spread out your soldiers to minimize its impact.

Strategy:

  • Spread Out: Prevent Blazing Pinions from hitting multiple units.
  • Focus Fire: Concentrate damage to bring them down quickly.
  • Snipers: Sharpshooters are excellent for hitting flying targets.
  • Overwatch Traps: Can catch them as they move.
  • Flashbangs: Can disorient and prevent Blazing Pinions.
