This chapter introduces the Real Estate Royale, a core gameplay mechanic that will be vital for earning vast sums of money and unlocking powerful upgrades. Prepare to dive deep into property management and strategic investments!

The Empty Lot and Tachibana Real Estate

The chapter begins with Kiryu still reeling from the events of the previous chapter. Your immediate goal is to meet with Tachibana to discuss the future and the mysterious Empty Lot.

Follow the Story Marker: Head directly to the story marker on your map, which will lead you to Tachibana Real Estate. This is located in the northern part of Kamurocho, near the Tenkaichi Street Gate.
Cutscene: A lengthy cutscene will play, detailing the intricacies of the Empty Lot and introducing the concept of the Real Estate Royale. Pay close attention, as this lays the groundwork for your new venture.
Initial Investment: Tachibana will provide you with an initial sum of ¥10,000,000 to kickstart your real estate business. This is a substantial amount, but you'll need to spend it wisely.

Real Estate Royale: Your First Properties

Now that you're a budding real estate mogul, it's time to acquire your first properties. The goal is to dominate the five districts of Kamurocho, starting with the Leisure King's territory.

Acquiring Your First Business

Your first task in the Real Estate Royale is to purchase a property. This will be guided by the game's tutorial.

Open the Real Estate Royale Menu: Access this through your phone (press the Touchpad/View button, then navigate to the Real Estate Royale app).
Select a District: Start with the Leisure King's territory. You'll see several available properties.
Purchase a Property: Look for a property that fits your budget. A good starting point is the Mahjong Parlor near the Theater Square, or the Karaoke Bar on Senryo Avenue. These are relatively inexpensive and offer decent initial returns.
Assign a Manager and Security: After purchasing, you'll be prompted to assign a manager and security guard. Initially, you'll only have Bacchus as a manager and Nugget (the chicken) as security. Assign them to your new property. Don't worry, you'll unlock more powerful personnel later.

Collecting Earnings

Once you own a property, it will start generating income. You'll need to periodically collect these earnings.

Check Your Phone: The Real Estate Royale app will notify you when earnings are ready to be collected.
Return to Tachibana Real Estate: Speak to the receptionist at Tachibana Real Estate to collect your accumulated funds. This is also where you'll manage your properties, assign staff, and upgrade facilities.
Reinvest: Don't hoard your money! Reinvest your earnings into new properties, especially within the Leisure King's district, to increase your overall income and influence.

Substory Opportunities

While focusing on the main story, explore Kamurocho for substories. Several new ones become available in Chapter 5, offering valuable rewards and character development.

Substory 1: The Human Trafficking Ring (Kamurocho): Found near the Shichifuku Street West area. A woman is being harassed. Intervene to start this substory. Rewards include a significant cash bonus and a potential new manager for Real Estate Royale.
Substory 2: The Innocent Pervert (Kamurocho): Located near the Pink Street North entrance. A man is accused of being a pervert. Help him clear his name. Completing this can unlock a new security guard.
Substory 3: The Taxman's Cometh (Kamurocho): Triggered by walking past the Ebisu Pawn shop on Shichifuku Street. You'll encounter a man being hassled by tax collectors.

Pro-Tip: Completing substories often rewards you with valuable items, money, or even new staff members for your Real Estate Royale business, so tackle them when you have a moment!

Facing the Leisure King

As you acquire more properties in the Leisure King's territory, he will eventually confront you. This is a crucial step in taking over his district.

Increase Your Influence: Continue purchasing properties and upgrading them within the Leisure King's district. The more properties you own and the higher their rank, the faster your influence will grow.
Confrontation: Once your influence is high enough (indicated by a progress bar in the Real Estate Royale menu), the Leisure King will challenge you directly. This will trigger a fight sequence.
Boss Battle: Leisure King:
- Style Recommendation: The Rush Style is excellent for quickly dodging his attacks and landing rapid combos. The Brawler Style can also be effective for dealing heavy damage once you've created an opening.
- Strategy: The Leisure King is not particularly tough, but he can be aggressive. Focus on dodging his wide swings and counter-attacking. Utilize Heat Actions when available for maximum damage.
- Reward: Defeating the Leisure King will grant you control over his entire district, significantly boosting your earnings and unlocking new properties. You'll also gain him as a manager for your Real Estate Royale business, and he's a very effective one!

Continuing the Story

After dealing with the Leisure King, the main story will prompt you to continue your investigation into the Empty Lot.

Return to Tachibana Real Estate: Head back to Tachibana's office for a debriefing and to progress the narrative.
