Key items are unique objects that are essential for progressing the main story or completing specific substories. They cannot be sold or discarded. Valuables are items that serve no direct combat purpose but can be sold to pawn shops for a significant amount of money.

Key Items:
- These are automatically placed in a separate 'Key Items' section of your inventory.
- They often include documents, letters, photographs, or unique objects required for quests.
- You don't need to actively 'use' most key items; simply possessing them will allow you to progress when the time comes.
Valuables:
- These are items like expensive watches, jewelry, or rare collectibles.
- They are primarily for earning money. If you're short on cash, check your inventory for valuables you can sell.
- Pawn shops (e.g., Ebisu Pawn) are the best places to sell valuables. They offer the highest prices.
While key items are self-explanatory, remember to regularly check your inventory for valuables. Selling them can provide a much-needed influx of Yen, which can then be used to purchase healing items, weapons, or fund mini-game activities. Don't accidentally sell a key item, as it's usually impossible to re-acquire.
