Weapons can significantly enhance your combat capabilities. They range from blunt objects found on the street to specialized firearms and blades. Each character has different proficiencies with certain weapon types, though all can use basic street weapons.
Weapon Types:
- Blunt Weapons: Bats, pipes, signs. Good for stunning and dealing moderate damage.
- Bladed Weapons: Knives, katanas. Fast attacks, high damage, but often break quickly.
- Firearms: Pistols, shotguns. Ranged attacks, useful for interrupting enemies or dealing damage from a distance. Ammo is limited.
- Special Weapons: Nunchaku, tonfas. Often have unique attack patterns and Heat Actions.
Weapons can be purchased from weapon shops (e.g., Don Quijote, Kamiyama Works) or found in the environment. Many weapons have durability and will break after repeated use. At Kamiyama Works, you can also mod and repair weapons, increasing their power, durability, or adding special effects. You'll need specific materials and blueprints (found through sub-stories or exploration) to craft and upgrade the best weapons.
