Kazuma Kiryu, the legendary Dragon of Dojima, returns as our fourth and final protagonist. His story picks up after the events of Yakuza 3, with him running the Morning Glory Orphanage in Okinawa. However, the events unfolding in Kamurocho soon draw him back into the heart of the yakuza world. Kiryu's fighting style is balanced and powerful, combining strong punches, kicks, and a wide array of Heat Actions. He is the most versatile fighter.
Kiryu's combat is familiar to series veterans. He has a strong foundation in all aspects of fighting. Focus on upgrading his attack power and health, as well as unlocking his various Heat Actions. His 'Essence of Finishing Blow' and 'Essence of Extreme' Heat Actions are incredibly effective against bosses. Don't forget his ability to switch between different stances (though less pronounced than in later games, his basic moveset is very adaptable). He is the ultimate all-rounder.
