The game opens with Kiryu, now Taichi Suzuki, working as a taxi driver. Your first task is to complete a series of taxi fares. These act as a tutorial for the driving mechanics. Follow the GPS on your mini-map to pick up and drop off passengers. Pay attention to traffic laws and passenger requests to earn higher fares and tips. After a few successful fares, you'll be introduced to your boss, who will give you more information about your job.
After your shift, you'll head to the local ramen shop. A cutscene will introduce you to some of the local yakuza, setting the stage for future conflicts. You'll then return to your apartment. The next day, you'll be tasked with another series of taxi missions, but this time, you'll encounter a suspicious passenger. This encounter will lead to your first street brawl, re-introducing Kiryu's combat mechanics. Defeat the thugs to progress the story. Remember to utilize your Heat Actions when your Heat Gauge is full for maximum damage.
