Recommended Level: 50+
Weaknesses & Resistances:
- Weakness: Electric
- Resistances: None significant
Strategy:
Tendo is one of the toughest bosses in the game, known for his incredibly high damage output and ability to inflict status effects. He is weak to Electric attacks, which is your primary advantage.
- Exploit Electric Weakness: Joon-gi Han (Hitman) and any character with Electric skills (e.g., Ichiban's Hero, Foreman) will be your main damage dealers. Focus all Electric attacks on Tendo.
- High Defense & Healing: Tendo hits extremely hard. Keep your party's HP at maximum. Adachi (Enforcer) should be guarding frequently. A dedicated healer (Idol Saeko) is almost mandatory.
- Status Ailment Cures: Tendo can inflict various status effects. Have plenty of 'First Aid Kits' and other cure items.
- Guard: Guarding is absolutely critical against Tendo's powerful single-target attacks. Missing a guard can lead to a one-shot.
- Buffs/Debuffs: Use buffs to increase your party's defense and debuffs to lower Tendo's attack.
- Poundmates: Use powerful Poundmates for burst damage or emergency healing.
- Grind: If you're struggling, grind a few more levels in the Sotenbori Battle Arena. Level 50+ is highly recommended.
