Navigating the vibrant streets of Yokohama can be time-consuming, but Yakuza: Like a Dragon offers a convenient fast travel system to help you zip across the city. This system is essential for quickly returning to quest locations, accessing shops, or revisiting areas for substories and other activities. Mastering its use will save you valuable time and make your exploration much more efficient.

The primary method of fast travel involves using desated 'Taxi' stands scattered throughout the game's various districts. These taxi stands are marked on your map with a distinctive taxi icon. To use a taxi, simply approach the stand and interact with it. You'll then be presented with a list of unlocked fast travel destinations within the current district and potentially adjacent ones.

To unlock new fast travel points, you generally need to visit them on foot first. As you explore Yokohama and progress through the story, you'll naturally discover more taxi stands. Some key locations and districts that feature these stands include:

Isezaki Ijincho: This is the main hub and has numerous taxi stands, particularly around major intersections and commercial areas like the Ijincho Station, Theater Square, and Chinatown.
Kamurocho: While not as extensive as Ijincho, Kamurocho also has several taxi stands, often near familiar landmarks from previous Yakuza titles.
Other Areas: As the story progresses, you'll gain access to new districts, each with its own set of taxi stands that will become available for fast travel.

Some fast travel points might require a small fee to use, typically a few hundred yen. This fee is negligible considering the time saved. Additionally, certain story progression points or substory completions might unlock new destinations on the taxi map. Always keep an eye on your mini-map for the taxi icon, as it's your gateway to rapid transit across Yokohama.

Beyond taxis, certain establishments or specific points of interest might offer unique fast travel options, though these are less common. The taxi system remains the backbone of efficient travel, ensuring you can always get where you need to be with minimal fuss.
