Mega Bowser is the final boss of Yoshi's Woolly World, a colossal, yarn-infused version of Bowser. This is a multi-phase battle that will test all your skills.

Phase 1: Bowser's Fire Breath & Ground Pounds
- Attack: Mega Bowser will breathe fire across the arena and perform powerful ground pounds, creating large shockwaves. He'll also summon smaller enemies.
- Strategy: Avoid his fire breath by moving to safe zones or using your flutter jump. Jump over his ground pound shockwaves. Kamek will fly around, trying to interfere. Swallow the smaller enemies or Kamek's magic to get yarn balls. When Bowser is stunned after a ground pound, throw a yarn ball at his face.
Phase 2: Bowser's Rolling Attack & Kamek's Interference
- Attack: After taking a few hits, Mega Bowser will start rolling across the arena, similar to Big Montgomery, but much faster and larger. Kamek will also be more aggressive, trying to block your path or turn platforms into enemies.
- Strategy: Time your jumps carefully to avoid the rolling Bowser. Focus on getting yarn balls from Kamek or other enemies. When Bowser stops rolling and is stunned, hit him with a yarn ball. You may need to hit Kamek first to clear a path.
Phase 3: Final Assault
- Attack: Bowser will become even more aggressive, combining all his previous attacks. He might also summon more powerful enemies or create more environmental hazards.
- Strategy: This phase requires perfect timing and quick reflexes. Prioritize dodging attacks and getting yarn balls. Look for any opening to hit Bowser's face. Kamek will be a constant nuisance, so deal with him quickly if he's in the way.
General Tips:
- Yarn Ball Stock: Always keep a full stock of yarn balls. Kamek is your best source.
- Power Badges: Consider 'Infinite Yarn Balls' to focus purely on dodging and aiming, or 'Take Less Damage' for increased survivability.
- Patience: This is a long and challenging fight. Don't rush, observe his patterns, and wait for your openings.
- Wonder Wools: The final Wonder Wools are awarded upon defeating Mega Bowser.
Defeat Mega Bowser by hitting him a total of 6 times. This is the ultimate test of your Yoshi skills!
