Yoshi's Woolly World offers two distinct gameplay modes to suit different player preferences:
- Classic Mode: This is the traditional Yoshi experience. You have a limited number of hearts, and falling into pits or taking too much damage will result in losing a life. It offers a satisfying challenge for platforming enthusiasts.
- Mellow Mode: Designed for players who want a more relaxed experience, Mellow Mode gives Yoshi a pair of wings, allowing for infinite flutter jumps. This makes navigating tricky sections much easier and prevents falling into pits. You also take less damage. It's perfect for younger players or those who want to focus on exploration and collecting without the pressure of losing lives.
You can switch between Mellow Mode and Classic Mode at any time from the world map or the pause menu. Don't be afraid to try both to see which one you enjoy more!
