Welcome to Shy Guy Shuttle, a level that introduces a unique platforming challenge: platforms carried by diligent, if somewhat predictable, Shy Guys. Mastering their movement patterns and timing your jumps will be key to discovering all of this level's secrets. This guide will help you navigate the airborne Shy Guy conveyances and collect every last item.

Walkthrough and Collectible Locations

The level begins with a series of platforms carried by Shy Guys moving horizontally. Observe their paths carefully before making your move.

1. Smiley Flower #1: Immediately after the first few Shy Guy shuttles, you'll see a stationary platform. Jump onto it and look slightly above and to the right. There's a hidden cloud here. Toss a yarn ball at it to reveal the first Smiley Flower.
2. Wonder Wool #1: Continue past the first Smiley Flower. You'll encounter a vertical sequence of Shy Guy shuttles. Ride the second upward-moving shuttle. At its apex, flutter jump to the left to land on a small, hidden ledge where the first Wonder Wool awaits.
3. Stamp Patch #1-5: As you progress, you'll come across a section with multiple Shy Guy shuttles moving in a circular pattern. Above these, you'll notice a line of five coins forming an arc. Collect all five of these coins to reveal your first set of Stamp Patches.
4. Smiley Flower #2: After the circular shuttle section, you'll reach a longer, horizontal Shy Guy shuttle that moves across a wide gap. Instead of riding it all the way, look for a small alcove in the wall above the middle of its path. Perform a high flutter jump from the shuttle to reach this hidden nook and grab the second Smiley Flower.
5. Wonder Wool #2: Shortly after the second Smiley Flower, you'll see a large, red Shy Guy shuttle moving slowly upwards. Ride this shuttle. As it approaches the top of its path, look to the right. There's a visible but slightly out-of-reach Wonder Wool. You'll need to perform a well-timed flutter jump off the shuttle to snag it.
6. Stamp Patch #6-10: Following Wonder Wool #2, you'll enter an area with several smaller Shy Guy shuttles moving erratically. Keep an eye out for a group of five coins arranged in a diamond shape. Collecting these will net you another five Stamp Patches.
7. Smiley Flower #3: You'll soon encounter a section with a series of Shy Guy shuttles moving through a narrow, maze-like passage. Ride the shuttles carefully. Near the end of this section, just before exiting, look for a hidden alcove on the upper-left side of the passage. You may need to jump off a shuttle and flutter to reach it. The third Smiley Flower is tucked away here.
8. Wonder Wool #3: After the maze-like passage, you'll reach an area with a large, stationary platform. To the right, you'll see a wall made of unravelable yarn. Toss a yarn ball at the bottom-right corner of this wall to unravel it, revealing a hidden passage. Follow this passage to find the third Wonder Wool.
9. Stamp Patch #11-15: In the next open area, you'll find a series of platforms and a few flying Shy Guys. Defeat the Shy Guys and collect the five coins they drop, or look for five coins arranged in a straight line above a moving platform. These will give you another set of Stamp Patches.
10. Smiley Flower #4: As you approach the checkpoint flag, you'll see a tall stack of crates. Climb or flutter jump to the very top of these crates. From there, perform a high flutter jump to the left to reach a cloud containing the fourth Smiley Flower.
11. Wonder Wool #4: Immediately after the checkpoint, you'll encounter a long, horizontal Shy Guy shuttle that carries you across a significant chasm. About halfway across, look directly below the shuttle. There's a hidden cloud. Drop off the shuttle, hit the cloud with a yarn ball, and quickly flutter back up to the shuttle or a nearby platform to avoid falling into the abyss. The cloud will reveal the fourth Wonder Wool.
12. Smiley Flower #5: Towards the end of the level, you'll ride a very long Shy Guy shuttle that moves diagonally upwards. As it reaches its highest point, before it starts descending, look for a small, visible platform to the upper-right. Jump onto this platform, then perform a high flutter jump to the right to reach a cloud containing the final Smiley Flower.
13. Wonder Wool #5: Just before the Goal Ring, you'll see a large, vertical wall of unravelable yarn. Toss multiple yarn balls at this wall to completely unravel it. Behind it lies a hidden chamber containing the fifth and final Wonder Wool.
14. Stamp Patch #16-20: The final set of Stamp Patches can be found by defeating a specific group of enemies or collecting a final cluster of five coins. Look for five coins arranged around the final Shy Guy shuttle before the Goal Ring.
