Section 1: The Initial Pipes & Hidden Paths

The level begins with Yoshi in a small, enclosed area. Your journey starts by navigating a series of pipes and uncovering the first few secrets.

1. First Smiley Flower: Head right from the start. You'll immediately encounter a visible green pipe. Do NOT enter it yet! Instead, jump over this pipe. You'll notice a subtle, almost invisible gap in the wall directly to the right of the pipe. Position Yoshi directly in front of this gap and perform a Ground Pound. This action will reveal a hidden passage. Follow this newly opened path to find your First Smiley Flower.
2. Entering the Pipes: Now, backtrack to the first green pipe you initially bypassed and enter it. This will transport you to an underground cavern area.

2. Third Smiley Flower: Continue your ascent to the very top of this vertical shaft. Before exiting the shaft through the opening at the top, look carefully to the right side of the wall. There's a subtle outline indicating a hidden passage. Perform a flutter jump into this passage to discover the Third Smiley Flower.
3. Exiting the Shaft: Once you've collected the Third Smiley Flower, exit the shaft through the opening at the top. You'll find yourself in an area populated by a few Shy Guys and a significant gap.

Section 3: Yarn Ball Platforms & Hidden Secrets

This section demands careful use of your yarn balls to create platforms and uncover additional hidden items. Ensure you have a good supply of yarn balls before proceeding.

1. Third Wonder Wool: After exiting the vertical shaft, deal with the patrolling Shy Guys. You'll see a long, wide gap ahead. Instead of immediately attempting to cross, look directly at the ceiling above the center of this gap. You'll notice a faint, dotted outline of a cloud. Jump and flutter to hit it, or use a well-aimed yarn ball, to reveal the Third Wonder Wool. Collect it before moving on.
2. Creating Platforms: Now, to cross the large gap, you'll need to utilize your yarn balls. Aim for the dotted outlines that span the gap; hitting these will form solid, temporary platforms. Create a path across.
3. Fourth Smiley Flower: As you are crossing the gap using your newly created platforms, pay close attention to the area directly above the center of the gap. There's another hidden cloud here. Hit it with a yarn ball to make the Fourth Smiley Flower appear. Collect it before reaching the other side.
4. Entering the Next Pipe: Once you've successfully crossed the gap and collected the Fourth Smiley Flower, proceed to the right and enter the green pipe on the other side.

Section 4: The Backdoor's True Secrets & Goal

You're nearing the end of the level, but the final collectibles require keen observation, a bit of strategic backtracking, and uncovering the true "backdoor" of this stage.

1. Fourth Wonder Wool: Upon exiting the pipe, you'll find yourself in a small, enclosed area with a single green pipe to your right. DO NOT ENTER THIS PIPE YET! Instead, turn your attention to the wall directly to your left. There's a very subtle, almost invisible outline of a hidden door or passage. Position Yoshi in front of this outline and perform a Ground Pound. This will reveal a hidden passage. Enter this passage, which leads to a secret room containing the Fourth Wonder Wool. Collect it, then return to the previous area.
2. Fifth Smiley Flower: Now, enter the green pipe you previously ignored (the one to your right after exiting the pipe from Section 3). This pipe takes you to another small, enclosed room. Look immediately to the upper-left corner of this room. You'll see a visible outline of a cloud. Hit it with a yarn ball to reveal the Fifth Smiley Flower.
3. Fifth Wonder Wool & Stamp Patch: After collecting the Fifth Smiley Flower, examine the ground in this small room very carefully. 4. Reaching the Goal: After collecting the final Wonder Wool and the Stamp Patch, exit the secret pipe. You'll be returned to the area just before the level's goal. Head right, jump onto the goal post, and celebrate your 100% completion of 1-7: The Backdoor!
