2-3: Castle of the Koopa
Welcome to the Koopa's stronghold! This level is a classic castle gauntlet filled with Koopa Troopas, their winged variants, and plenty of hidden secrets. To achieve 100% completion, you'll need to meticulously search every nook and cranny, unraveling walls and hitting invisible clouds. This guide will walk you through collecting all 5 Smiley Flowers, 5 Wonder Wools, and 20 Stamp Patches.

Walkthrough:
As you begin, head right. You'll immediately encounter a few standard Koopa Troopas. Remember that their shells can be used as projectiles to hit distant enemies or objects.
- Initial Area & First Smiley Flower (1/5):
- Move right past the first few Koopa Troopas. You'll see a small gap in the floor. Drop down into this gap.
- In the hidden alcove below, you'll find a Red Present Cloud. Hit it to reveal Smiley Flower (1/5).
- Continue right, defeating or avoiding the Koopa Troopas.
- First Wonder Wool (1/5) & Stamp Patches (1-5/20):
- Just after the first Smiley Flower, you'll come to a section with a few platforms and more Koopa Troopas. Look closely at the ceiling above the second platform.
- Jump and flutter to reveal an Invisible Cloud. Hit it to make Wonder Wool (1/5) appear.
- As you progress, you'll encounter a series of platforms with Koopa Troopas. Defeat the first five Koopa Troopas you see in this area to collect Stamp Patches (1-5/20).
- Second Smiley Flower (2/5) & Stamp Patches (6-10/20):
- You'll soon reach a vertical shaft with moving platforms and several Paratroopas.
- Ascend this shaft. Near the top, on the right side, there's a visible Winged Cloud. Hit it to spawn Smiley Flower (2/5).
- Defeat the five Paratroopas in this vertical shaft as you climb to collect Stamp Patches (6-10/20).
- Second Wonder Wool (2/5) & Stamp Patches (11-15/20):
- After the vertical shaft, you'll enter an area with a long, horizontal stretch. Keep an eye on the ceiling.
- Midway through this section, look for a suspicious-looking brick wall on the ceiling. Jump and flutter to reveal an Invisible Cloud hidden within the wall.
- Hit this cloud to make Wonder Wool (2/5) appear.
- In this same horizontal stretch, you'll encounter five more ground-based Koopa Troopas. Defeat them to earn Stamp Patches (11-15/20).
- Mid-Checkpoint & Third Smiley Flower (3/5):
- You'll soon reach a Mid-Ring Checkpoint. Activate it.
- Immediately after the checkpoint, you'll see a large, red Koopa Troopa. Defeat it (a single egg will do) to reveal Smiley Flower (3/5).
- Third Wonder Wool (3/5) & Stamp Patches (16-20/20):
- Continue right from the checkpoint. You'll come to a section with several falling blocks.
- Navigate carefully across the falling blocks. Before the final solid platform, look for a small alcove in the ceiling above the falling blocks.
- Jump and flutter into this alcove to find a hidden Red Present Cloud containing Wonder Wool (3/5).
- In the area immediately following the falling blocks, you'll find five more Koopa Troopas patrolling. Defeat them to collect the final Stamp Patches (16-20/20) for this level.
- Fourth Smiley Flower (4/5):
- After the falling blocks section, you'll see a large, unravelable wall on the right.
- Unravel the entire wall using your tongue. Behind it, you'll discover a hidden pipe.
- Enter the pipe to access a secret room. Inside, you'll find Smiley Flower (4/5). Exit the room via the pipe.
- Fourth Wonder Wool (4/5):
- Back in the main path, proceed right. You'll encounter a section with several moving platforms that shift up and down.
- Carefully cross these platforms. Above the third moving platform, look for an Invisible Cloud.
- Jump and flutter to hit it, revealing Wonder Wool (4/5).
- Fifth Smiley Flower (5/5) & Fifth Wonder Wool (5/5):
- Near the very end of the level, just before the Goal Ring, you'll see a large, red door.
- Instead of going through the door immediately, look above it. There's a small ledge.
- Jump onto this ledge. You'll find a visible Winged Cloud. Hit it to reveal Smiley Flower (5/5).
- Now, look to the right of this ledge. There's another small, hidden alcove in the wall.
- Flutter jump into this alcove to find a final Red Present Cloud. Hit it to collect the last Wonder Wool (5/5).
- With all collectibles secured, proceed through the red door to the Goal Ring!
