Welcome to 2-5: Spooky Scraps, a chilling ghost-themed level that will test your platforming precision and yarn-tossing skills. This stage is filled with Boos, disappearing platforms, and hidden secrets, so keep your eyes peeled and your yarn ready!

Walkthrough and Collectible Locations:

Area 1: The Haunted Hallway

The level begins in a dimly lit hallway. Proceed cautiously, as Boos will start to appear. Remember, Boos are shy; they'll hide their faces when you look at them, but they'll chase you when your back is turned. To defeat them, you'll need to hit them with a yarn ball from behind.

Smiley Flower #1: Immediately after the first few Boos, you'll notice a visible cloud being chased by a Boo. Hit this cloud with a yarn ball to reveal the first Smiley Flower.
Wonder Wool #1: After collecting the first Smiley Flower, continue right. Look for a dark, recessed corner in the ceiling. Jump up and flutter to reveal a hidden cloud containing the first Wonder Wool.
Stamp Patches: Keep an eye out for small groups of beads. Many of these will be accompanied by hidden clouds that, when hit, reveal Stamp Patches. The first few are usually found above the main path.

Area 2: Disappearing Platforms and Large Boos

As you progress, you'll encounter sections with disappearing platforms. These platforms vanish shortly after you land on them, so precise timing and quick jumps are crucial. Don't rush, but don't linger!

Smiley Flower #2: In the first major section with disappearing platforms, navigate carefully. The second Smiley Flower is located directly above a series of these platforms. You'll need to make a well-timed jump and possibly a flutter to reach it before the platform beneath you disappears.
Wonder Wool #2: Shortly after the disappearing platforms, you'll encounter larger Boos. These require two yarn balls to defeat: one to stun them, and a second to hit their back. Above the second large Boo, look for a hidden cloud. Hit it to reveal the second Wonder Wool.
Stamp Patches: Many beads are scattered across the disappearing platforms. Collect as many as you can while navigating. Some hidden clouds containing Stamp Patches are also positioned above these platforms.

Area 3: Secret Passages and Unraveling Walls

This area introduces walls that can be unraveled with your tongue, often leading to hidden paths or collectibles. Pay close attention to any suspicious-looking seams or patterns in the environment.

Smiley Flower #3: After a series of smaller Boos and a few more disappearing platforms, you'll come to a tall vertical shaft. Instead of going straight up, look to the left wall for a section that looks slightly different. Unravel this wall with your tongue to reveal a secret alcove containing the third Smiley Flower.
Wonder Wool #3: Immediately after the secret alcove, continue upwards. At the very top of this vertical shaft, before moving to the next screen, look for a hidden cloud near the ceiling. Hit it to reveal the third Wonder Wool.
Stamp Patches: There are several hidden clouds along the main path in this area, particularly above groups of beads. explore any dead ends or high ledges for potential hidden clouds.

Area 4: The Darkened Chamber and Final Stretch

The final section of the level features a large, darkened chamber with more Boos and a few tricky platforming challenges. If you have the "Light Up Dark Areas" Power Badge active, this section will be significantly easier.

Smiley Flower #4: In the large darkened chamber, you'll see a series of platforms leading upwards. The fourth Smiley Flower is located high up on the right side, requiring a precise jump and flutter from a moving platform.
Wonder Wool #4: After collecting Smiley Flower #4, continue to the right. You'll pass a large Boo. Look for a section of the floor that appears slightly raised or discolored. Ground pound this section to reveal a hidden pipe. Enter the pipe to find a secret room with the fourth Wonder Wool.
Smiley Flower #5: Before reaching the goal roulette, you'll encounter a final set of disappearing platforms. The fifth Smiley Flower is positioned directly above the last of these platforms, requiring a perfectly timed jump.
Wonder Wool #5: The final Wonder Wool is often the trickiest. After the last set of disappearing platforms and just before the goal post, look for a hidden cloud high above the path. You might need to use a large Boo as a stepping stone or perform a high flutter jump from the edge of a platform to reach and hit it.
Stamp Patches: The darkened chamber and the final stretch are rich with beads and hidden clouds. Use your yarn to clear out enemies and reveal any hidden secrets.

Tips for Success:

Yarn Management: Boos require yarn balls to defeat. Always try to keep a full stock of six yarn balls by eating enemies or collecting yarn from yarn baskets.
Boo Strategy: When facing Boos, turn your back briefly to lure them closer, then quickly turn around and toss a yarn ball at their exposed back. For larger Boos, you'll need to hit them twice.
Disappearing Platforms: Patience is key. Observe the pattern of the platforms before committing to a jump. Sometimes, waiting for a platform to reappear is safer than rushing.
Hidden Clouds: Many collectibles in this level are found in hidden clouds. If you see a suspicious empty space, a trail of beads leading nowhere, or an area that looks like it could hide something, try jumping and fluttering or tossing a yarn ball.
Power Badges: Consider equipping the "Light Up Dark Areas" Power Badge for better visibility in the darker sections, or the "Mellow Mode" badge if you're struggling with the platforming.
