World 4-5: Sunset at Curtain Falls

Welcome to Sunset at Curtain Falls, a level that truly lives up to its name with stunning visuals and some tricky platforming. Keep your eyes peeled for hidden paths and don't be afraid to explore! This stage introduces new challenges with moving platforms and enemies that blend into the background.

Walkthrough and Collectibles

• Start Area:
  • Immediately upon starting, head right. You'll encounter a few Shy Guys. Defeat them or turn them into yarn balls.
  • Look for a hidden cloud above the first few platforms. Jump and flutter to reveal it and collect 50 Beads.
  • The first Wonder Wool (1/5) is floating above a small gap. Use a flutter jump to reach it.
• First Waterfall Section:
  • As you progress, you'll reach a series of platforms moving up and down alongside a waterfall. Time your jumps carefully.
  • Above the second set of moving platforms, you'll spot a visible cloud. Hit it to reveal 50 Beads and a Heart.
  • Just after this, you'll see a large Piranha Plant. Defeat it with a yarn ball. Behind it, you'll find a hidden area with the first Stamp Patch (1/5).
• Mid-Level Checkpoint and Hidden Path:
  • You'll soon reach a checkpoint flag. Hit it to save your progress.
  • Directly above the checkpoint, flutter jump to reveal a hidden cloud containing a Winged Cloud. Hit it to spawn a trail of beads leading to a secret area.
  • Follow the bead trail to the left. You'll find a hidden alcove with Wonder Wool (2/5). Be careful, as a hidden enemy might pop out!
• Rotating Platforms and Second Waterfall:
  • The next section features rotating platforms. Observe their pattern before making your move.
  • On the third rotating platform, look for a small gap underneath. Drop down carefully to find a hidden alcove containing Stamp Patch (2/5).
  • After navigating the rotating platforms, you'll come to another waterfall. There's a visible cloud here. Hit it for 50 Beads.
  • The Wonder Wool (3/5) is located on a small, crumbling platform just before the next set of enemies. Grab it quickly!
• Spiky Enemies and Moving Blocks:
  • You'll encounter new spiky enemies that roll along the ground. Use yarn balls to flip them over, then jump on them.
  • There's a series of moving blocks that appear and disappear. Time your movements precisely.
  • Above the second disappearing block, flutter jump to reveal a hidden cloud with 50 Beads and a Heart.
  • The Stamp Patch (3/5) is hidden behind a breakable wall to the right of the third disappearing block. Use a yarn ball to smash through.
• Final Stretch and Boss Prep:
  • As you near the end, you'll see a large Kamek flying around. Ignore him for now, or hit him with a yarn ball for some beads.
  • The Wonder Wool (4/5) is floating high above a platform that's being patrolled by a large Piranha Plant. You'll need to use a well-timed flutter jump from the platform to reach it.
  • Before the final pipe, look for a hidden cloud directly above the last set of enemies. Hit it to reveal the final Stamp Patch (4/5).
  • The final Wonder Wool (5/5) is just before the goal post, hidden in a visible cloud to the left of the pipe.

Once you've collected all the items and reached the goal, pat yourself on the back! Sunset at Curtain Falls is a challenging but rewarding level. Get ready for the next adventure!
