World 4-7: Yoshi Branches Out

Welcome to "Yoshi Branches Out," a level that truly lives up to its name with plenty of verticality and hidden pathways among the foliage. This stage introduces new challenges with moving platforms and enemies that blend into the environment. Keep your eyes peeled for those tricky collectibles!

Walkthrough

Part 1: The Ascent Begins
  1. Starting Area & First Wonder Wool:

    As you begin, head right. You'll immediately encounter a few Shy Guys. Swallow them to create yarn balls. Look for a small platform above the starting point. Jump onto it to find your first Wonder Wool (1/5). Don't miss the Stamp Patch (1/20) directly to the right of the starting platform, usually hidden behind a small bush.

  2. Moving Platforms and Hidden Cloud:

    Continue right, navigating the initial series of moving platforms. Be careful not to fall. You'll see a large tree trunk. Jump onto it. Above you, a seemingly empty space holds a hidden cloud. Jump and flutter to reveal it. Inside, you'll find a few coins and a Stamp Patch (2/20).

  3. First Flower & Piranha Plants:

    Proceed further right. You'll encounter your first Piranha Plants in this level. Use yarn balls to defeat them or simply jump over them. Just after the second Piranha Plant, you'll see a small alcove above you. Flutter jump into it to collect Flower (1/5).

Part 2: Branching Paths & Mid-Level Challenges
  1. Second Wonder Wool & Hidden Passage:

    After the first checkpoint, you'll come across a series of platforms moving up and down. Ride the second ascending platform to its highest point. Instead of jumping to the next visible platform, look to your left. There's a hidden passage in the wall. Flutter into it to discover Wonder Wool (2/5) and a couple of Stamp Patches (3/20, 4/20).

  2. Cloud Cannon & Third Wonder Wool:

    Continue along the main path. You'll reach a section with a Cloud Cannon. Before entering it, look below the cannon. There's a small, almost invisible platform. Drop down carefully to find Wonder Wool (3/5). Use the Cloud Cannon to launch yourself upwards.

  3. Second Flower & Rotating Platforms:

    After exiting the Cloud Cannon, you'll land on a series of rotating platforms. Navigate these carefully. On the second rotating platform, you'll notice a small, stationary platform to your upper right. Jump to it to grab Flower (2/5). There's also a Stamp Patch (5/20) on the path immediately after the rotating platforms.

Part 3: The Canopy & Final Stretch
  1. Fourth Wonder Wool & Gusty Winds:

    You'll enter an area with strong gusts of wind pushing you. Use your flutter jump strategically to counteract the wind. As you're being pushed left, look for a small, elevated platform with a single Shy Guy. Defeat the Shy Guy and collect Wonder Wool (4/5). This section also has several easily visible Stamp Patches (6/20 - 10/20) scattered along the windy path.

  2. Third Flower & Hidden Block:

    After the windy section, you'll see a series of platforms leading upwards. Before ascending, ground pound the area directly beneath the first ascending platform. A hidden block will appear, containing Flower (3/5).

  3. Fifth Wonder Wool & Final Piranha Plants:

    Near the end of the level, you'll encounter a final gauntlet of Piranha Plants. Just before the last set, you'll see a large, breakable block wall. Use a yarn ball to destroy it. Behind it lies Wonder Wool (5/5). Collect any remaining Stamp Patches (11/20 - 15/20) in this final ascent.

  4. Fourth Flower & End Goal:

    As you approach the goal roulette, look directly above it. There's a small, hidden cloud that contains Flower (4/5). You might need to jump from the highest platform just before the goal. The remaining Stamp Patches (16/20 - 20/20) are usually found on the path leading to the goal roulette.

  5. Fifth Flower (Bonus):

    The final Flower (5/5) is always obtained by successfully hitting the "Flower" panel on the goal roulette. Time your jump carefully!
