Welcome to "The Great Escape," a thrilling auto-scrolling level where quick reflexes and precise platforming are key to outrunning a relentless rising tide of lava! This stage demands constant movement and awareness of your surroundings to collect all the hidden treasures. There are 5 Wonder Wools and 5 Smiley Flowers to find. Prepare for a fiery challenge!

Walkthrough and Collectibles

The level begins with Yoshi on a platform as the lava starts to rise from below. Don't dally!

1. Initial Ascent & First Smiley Flower: Immediately start moving right. Jump across the initial platforms, avoiding the first few enemies like Shy Guys. The first Smiley Flower is located on a small, high platform shortly after the first few jumps. You'll need to jump quickly to grab it before the lava overtakes the platform.
2. First Wonder Wool & Hidden Cloud: Continue your ascent. After navigating a series of platforms and avoiding more Shy Guys, look for a section where you need to jump over a gap. Just before a larger, stable platform, keep an eye on the ceiling. There's a hidden cloud directly above this gap. Jump and flutter to hit it, revealing the first Wonder Wool.
3. Second Smiley Flower & Enemy Gauntlet: As you progress, you'll encounter a vertical shaft with enemies like Hot Heads or Lava Bubbles. The second Smiley Flower is positioned precariously on a small, crumbling platform in the middle of this shaft. Time your jumps carefully to grab it without falling into the lava or being hit by enemies.
4. Second Wonder Wool & Secret Passage: After the vertical shaft, you'll reach a more open area with several platforms. Look for a wall on the right side that appears slightly different or has a loose thread. Ground pound near it or throw a yarn ball to reveal a secret passage. Inside this passage, you'll find the second Wonder Wool.
5. Third Smiley Flower & Rising Platforms: The lava will continue its relentless climb. You'll enter a section with platforms that rise and fall with the lava. The third Smiley Flower is on a high, stationary platform that requires a well-timed flutter jump from a rising platform to reach. Be quick, as the lava will soon engulf it.
6. Third Wonder Wool & Target Switch: Shortly after the third Smiley Flower, you'll see a series of flying enemies, possibly Winged Goombas. Above the second wave of these enemies, there's a visible target switch. Hit this switch with a yarn ball to reveal a hidden cloud containing the third Wonder Wool.
7. Fourth Smiley Flower & Mid-Level Checkpoint: Just before reaching the first checkpoint, you'll navigate a series of narrow platforms. The fourth Smiley Flower is on a platform that briefly appears from the lava before sinking again. You'll need to grab it on its upward trajectory. The checkpoint will be right after this section, providing a much-needed breather.
8. Fourth Wonder Wool & Risky Detour: After the checkpoint, the auto-scrolling intensifies. You'll come across a section with multiple paths. Take the upper path, which requires a slightly more challenging jump. On this upper path, behind a Piranha Plant, you'll find the fourth Wonder Wool. Be careful not to fall!
9. Fifth Smiley Flower & Final Dash: In the final stretch, as the lava reaches its peak, you'll encounter a series of fast-moving platforms. The fifth Smiley Flower is located on the highest of these platforms, requiring a precise series of jumps and flutters to reach before the screen scrolls past.
10. Fifth Wonder Wool & End-Level Secret: As you approach the goal post, don't rush to the finish. Look for a small alcove or a hidden cloud near the very top of the screen, just before the final platform leading to the goal. Throw a yarn ball at the ceiling or into a suspicious-looking area to reveal the fifth Wonder Wool. It's often tucked away in a spot that encourages a final, risky exploration.

Strategy Tips

• Keep Moving: This is an auto-scrolling level, so hesitation is your enemy. Always be looking ahead for the next platform or threat.
• Yarn Ball Management: Collect yarn balls whenever possible. They are crucial for hitting hidden clouds and defeating enemies from a distance.
• Flutter Jump Mastery: Practice your flutter jumps. Many collectibles are on high platforms or require extended airtime to reach safely.
• Look for Clues: Keep an eye out for loose threads, suspicious-looking walls, or faint outlines of clouds that might hide secrets.
