Thunderbird is the penultimate boss, found in the Great Palace. This massive bird flies around the screen, shooting fireballs and swooping down to attack. His weak point is his head. To damage Thunderbird, you must first use the Thunder spell. This spell will temporarily turn Thunderbird red and make him vulnerable to your sword attacks. Without the Thunder spell, he is invulnerable. Once vulnerable, jump and use the Upward Thrust to hit his head. He moves quickly, so timing your jumps and attacks is crucial. The Shield spell is highly recommended to reduce damage from his fireballs. Keep an eye on your Magic Meter, as you'll need to recast Thunder periodically. This is a challenging fight that requires excellent resource management and precise execution. Defeating Thunderbird opens the path to the final boss.
