Carock is a Wizzrobe-like boss found in the Island Palace. He floats around the screen, teleporting and firing magic projectiles. He is often accompanied by smaller Wizzrobes. Carock's main weakness is his reflection. To defeat him, you need to use the Reflect spell (if you have it) to bounce his own projectiles back at him. If you don't have Reflect, you'll need to time your sword swings to hit him between his teleportations, which is much harder. The Upward Thrust can be useful if he floats high. The Shield spell can help reduce damage from his magic attacks. Focus on dodging his projectiles and striking when he materializes. If you have Reflect, the fight becomes significantly easier. Without it, this can be one of the most challenging early bosses. Defeating Carock grants you the third crystal.
