After conquering Parapa Palace, your next objective is to visit the town of Rauru. Rauru is located to the west of Parapa Palace, across a small bridge. In Rauru, you'll find various villagers who offer clues and advice. More importantly, you'll encounter a wise man who will teach you your first magic spell: Shield. The Shield spell reduces the damage Link takes from enemy attacks, making it incredibly useful for both exploration and boss battles. To learn the spell, you'll need to speak to the wise man in one of the houses. Ensure you have enough Magic Points to cast it once learned. Rauru also has a fairy fountain where you can restore your health and magic, so utilize it before heading out. This town is a crucial hub for early game progression and spell acquisition.
