For the early game (Chapters 1-15), focus on heroes that provide high-impact scaling and sustainability to push through high level deficits. Here are the current meta-tier recommendations:

- Daimon (Graveborn - Tank): The undisputed king of early-game carries. His "Blood Shield" ability allows him to steal enemy HP and Attack Ratings, making him more effective as enemies get stronger. Prioritize him over Shemira for a much faster progression.
- Ivan (Graveborn - Support): A top-tier support who tethers to your strongest ally (usually Daimon), providing massive shields, energy regeneration, and stats. He is currently essential for protecting your primary carry.
- Rowan (Lightbearer - Support): Still one of the best supports in the game. His signature item provides vital energy potions that allow your team to ultimate faster. Place him in the center backline position.
- Brutus (Mauler - Tank): Valued for his "Last Gasp" ability, which grants him several seconds of total damage immunity. He is the perfect frontline staller, bought time for your Daimon to ramp up, even at low ascension levels.
- Scarlet (Lightbearer - Mage): A premier damage dealer who excels in both campaign and boss fights. If you pull copies of her early, she can serve as a secondary carry alongside or instead of Daimon.
Focus your resources on ascending Daimon to Mythic first to unlock his Signature Item. Avoid investing heavily in "Fodder" tier heroes like Saveas, as modern carries like Daimon offer superior utility from Chapter 1 onwards.
