Crafting Bridges & Inclines

As your island grows and develops, you'll quickly realize the need for better accessibility across its varied terrain. Bridges allow you to cross rivers and streams with ease, while inclines provide a convenient way to ascend and descend cliffs. These structural improvements are vital for efficient island navigation and enhancing its aesthetic appeal.

To unlock the ability to build bridges and inclines, you'll first need to upgrade Resident Services from a tent to a full building. This sificant milestone occurs after you've invited three new villagers to live on your island and helped them set up their homes. Once Resident Services is a permanent structure, speak with Tom Nook inside. He will then offer you the option to discuss "infrastructure," which includes the construction of bridges and inclines.

When you choose to build a bridge or incline, Tom Nook will provide you with a "construction kit." You'll then need to place this kit at your desired location on the island. Once placed, you'll be prompted to contribute the necessary Bells and materials to complete the project. Friends visiting your island can also contribute to these construction projects, helping you reach your goals faster!
