As you settle into island life, you'll quickly realize that the initial layout of your island, while charming, might not perfectly al with your grand vision. Fear not, future terraformer! The ability to reshape your island, from moving buildings to carving out rivers and raising cliffs, is a cornerstone of the Animal Crossing: New Horizons experience. However, this powerful customization system isn't available from day one.

To unlock the full suite of island customization tools, you'll need to reach a 3-star island rating. This involves a combination of attracting more residents, improving your island's aesthetics, and developing its infrastructure. Once you hit this milestone, the iconic K.K. Slider will perform a concert on your island, and the very next day, Tom Nook will congratulate you and install the Island Deser app on your NookPhone. This app is your gateway to terraforming, path creation, and a truly personalized island paradise.
