Unlocking the Island Evaluation System
As your island begins to take shape and you complete Tom Nook's initial requests, you'll soon gain access to a vital tool for understanding your island's progress: the Island Evaluation System. This system, managed by the ever-helpful Isabelle, provides a star rating (from 1 to 5) for your island, reflecting its overall appeal and development. Unlocking this feature is a key step in guiding your island towards its full potential and attracting new residents and special visitors.
To unlock the Island Evaluation System, you'll first need to upgrade Resident Services from a tent to a full-fledged building. This sificant upgrade occurs after you've completed several foundational tasks, including:
- Building the Nook's Cranny shop.
- Constructing a bridge.
- Furnishing and moving in three new villagers into their desated plots.
Once Resident Services is a permanent building, Isabelle will move in and take her place behind the counter. From this point forward, you can speak with her at any time and select the option "Let's talk island evals." She will then provide you with your current star rating and offer valuable feedback on how to improve it, guiding your efforts towards a five-star paradise.
