How to Unlock Island Tours
Unlocking Island Tours is a straightforward process, directly linked to your early game progression. Follow these steps to gain access to this essential feature:
- Pay Off Your Initial Tent Loan: Your very first task from Tom Nook is to pay off the 5,000 Nook Miles loan for your tent. You can earn Nook Miles by completing various activities around your island, such as catching fish, pulling weeds, and talking to villagers.
- Upgrade to a House: Once your tent loan is paid, speak to Tom Nook at Resident Services. He will offer you the option to upgrade your tent to a proper house. This upgrade comes with a new loan of 98,000 Bells. While you don't need to pay this off immediately to unlock tours, initiating the house construction is a key trigger.
- Receive Your First Nook Miles Ticket: After you've agreed to the house upgrade, Tom Nook will gift you your very first Nook Miles Ticket. This ticket is your passport to an Island Tour!
