Prowlers are aggressive, dog-like creatures that have appeared in various limited-time modes, most notably 'The Broken Ghost' questline and occasionally in Control mode. They attack in packs and can quickly overwhelm unprepared players. While not a 'boss' in the traditional sense, a large pack of Prowlers can be a significant threat, especially when combined with enemy Legends.
Prowler Behavior & Weaknesses:
- Aggressive Melee: Prowlers primarily attack with fast melee strikes.
- Pack Tactics: They often attack in groups, attempting to surround and overwhelm.
- Weak Point: Their head is a critical hit zone.
- Vulnerable to AoE: Abilities like Caustic's Nox Gas or Bangalore's Rolling Thunder are effective for crowd control.
Strategy for Prowlers:
- Maintain Distance: Try to engage Prowlers from a distance with automatic weapons.
- Focus Fire: Concentrate fire on one Prowler at a time to quickly reduce their numbers.
- Use Cover: Utilize environmental cover to break line of sight and funnel them.
- Grenades: Arc Stars and Thermites are highly effective for damaging multiple Prowlers.
- Legend Abilities: Defensive Legends can create barriers, while offensive Legends can quickly eliminate them.
