While not a single boss, facing a swarm of these Shadows, often led by a powerful 'Shadow Revenant,' can feel like a boss encounter. Surviving against these relentless, fast-moving enemies requires different tactics than standard Battle Royale.
Shadow Behavior & Weaknesses:
- Enhanced Melee: Shadows deal significant melee damage.
- Wall Running & Speed: They are incredibly fast and can traverse terrain quickly.
- Infinite Respawn: Shadows respawn until their entire squad is eliminated.
- Vulnerable to Range: Shadows have no shields or ranged attacks, making them vulnerable to sustained gunfire.
- Shadow Revenant: A particularly powerful Shadow that can be difficult to take down.
Strategy for Shadow Royale:
- Stick Together: Do not split up; Shadows will quickly overwhelm isolated players.
- High Ground: Seek high ground that Shadows cannot easily reach or must climb slowly.
- Automatic Weapons: LMGs and SMGs are excellent for suppressing and eliminating multiple Shadows.
