Collectible & Exploration Achievements
These trophies require you to delve into every corner of Italy, seeking out hidden items and completing side objectives. Patience and thoroughness are key!
Feather Collector
- No More Mr. Nice Guy: Collect all 100 Feathers.
- Strategy: Feathers are scattered across Florence (27), Tuscany/San Gimignano (11), Forlì (4), Venice (46), and the Apennine Mountains (12). It's highly recommended to purchase the "Feather Map" from Art Merchants in each major city once you have enough Florins. This will mark all remaining feathers on your in-game map, making them significantly easier to track down. Many feathers are on rooftops, ledges, or hidden in obscure corners. Utilize Eagle Vision frequently to spot them from a distance.
- Reward: Collecting all 100 feathers unlocks the Auditore Cape, which allows Ezio to be notorious in every city.
Glyph & Codex Page Hunter
- Macho Man: Discover all 20 Glyphs.
- Strategy: Glyphs are hidden symbols etched onto various landmarks throughout the game world. They become visible when you activate Eagle Vision near them. Once found, interact with them to solve a puzzle. The puzzles often involve identifying specific images from historical events or figures. If you struggle, consult an online guide for the specific solutions. Glyphs are found in Florence (4), Monteriggioni (1), Tuscany/San Gimignano (3), Forlì (2), and Venice (10).
- Sweeper: Find all 30 Codex Pages.
- Strategy: Codex Pages are integral to the story and are often acquired during main missions. However, some are found in chests or given by specific characters. Ensure you always loot chests you encounter and complete all main story objectives. Once collected, bring them to Leonardo da Vinci at the Villa Auditore to have them deciphered.
Treasure Seeker
- Mailman: Intercept a Borgia Courier.
- Strategy: Borgia Couriers are distinct, fast-moving NPCs marked with a red icon on your mini-map when nearby. They often run through crowded streets. To intercept them, you must tackle them (press Circle/B while running) or kill them. They drop Florins and sometimes other items. This is often achieved naturally during gameplay, but if you're specifically hunting for it, patrol busy market areas in Florence or Venice.
- Tip of the Iceberg: Find a Glyph. (See "Macho Man" for strategy)
- A Piece of the Puzzle: Unlock a Piece of Eden video. (Requires solving a Glyph puzzle)
Combat & Skill Achievements
These achievements test your prowess as an Assassin, requiring specific combat maneuvers or strategic approaches.
- Venetian Gladiator: Discover the Assassin's Tomb inside Santa Maria della Visitazione.
- Strategy: This tomb is located in Venice. You'll need to complete a platforming and combat challenge within the tomb. Successfully navigating the environment and defeating the guards will unlock the achievement.
- I Can See You: Synchronize 10 View Points.
- Strategy: View Points are tall structures (towers, cathedrals) marked with an eagle icon on your map. Climb to the top and interact with the synchronization point. This reveals portions of your map and unlocks fast travel points. You'll likely get this naturally by exploring.
- Fly Swatter: Kick a Guard while using the Flying Machine.
- Strategy: This achievement can only be obtained during DNA Sequence 8, Memory 5: "Flying Machine 2.0". While piloting Leonardo's Flying Machine, you'll encounter guards on rooftops. Fly close to them and press the attack button (Square/X) to perform a kick. It might take a few attempts to line up correctly.
- Sweeper: Sweep 5 guards at once with a long weapon.
- Strategy: Equip a long weapon like a Spear or Halberd (often found on guards or in weapon racks). Find a group of at least five guards, preferably clustered together. Engage them in combat and use the "sweep" attack (hold the attack button). A good location is often near guard posts or during larger skirmishes.
- Doctor: Perform an Air Assassination on a Leaping Target.
- Strategy: This requires precise timing. Find a guard on a rooftop or elevated platform. Position yourself above them, then wait for them to jump across a gap or onto another platform. As they are mid-air, initiate an Air Assassination (press Square/X). This can be tricky, so practice on isolated guards.
- Kleptomaniac: Pickpocket 1000 Florins.
- Strategy: To pickpocket, walk behind an NPC and hold the pickpocket button (X/A). You don't need to do this all at once; the total accumulates. Focus on wealthy-looking citizens or guards for higher yields. This is easily achieved over the course of the game by pickpocketing frequently.
- Steal These Feathers: Steal 5 guards' weapons.
- Strategy: During combat, disarm an enemy by countering their attack (hold R1/RB and press Circle/B) and then immediately pressing the attack button (Square/X) to take their weapon. Repeat this five times.
Villa Auditore & Economic Achievements
These achievements focus on developing your family's estate and managing your wealth.
- Home Sweet Home: Upgrade the Villa.
- Strategy: After gaining access to the Villa Auditore in Monteriggioni, speak with the Architect. Invest Florins into various upgrades like the Bank, Blacksmith, Art Merchant, Doctor, and Tailor. Any single upgrade will unlock this achievement.
- Show Your Colors: Wear the Auditore Cape in Florence and Venice.
- Strategy: First, you must collect all 100 Feathers to unlock the Auditore Cape. Once unlocked, equip it from your inventory. Then, simply travel to Florence and then to Venice. The achievement will pop once you've visited both cities while wearing the cape.
- In Memory of Petruccio: Collect all 100 Feathers. (See "No More Mr. Nice Guy" for strategy)
- Welcome to the Animus 2.0: Enter the Animus 2.0. (Story-related, unmissable)
- The Truth: Solve the mystery of "The Truth".
- Strategy: This achievement is tied to finding and solving all 20 Glyphs. Once all glyphs are solved, you will unlock a final video that reveals "The Truth."
- Vendor Trash: Sell 500 Florins worth of items to a Vendor.
- Strategy: Collect various trinkets and items from chests or fallen enemies. Visit any Vendor (Blacksmith, Art Merchant, Tailor) and sell your accumulated goods. You don't need to sell 500 Florins worth in one go; it's a cumulative total.
- Hired Muscle: Hire 3 groups of Mercenaries and use them to kill 3 guards.
- Strategy: Find a group of Mercenaries (marked with a sword icon on your map) and hire them for a fee. Once hired, target three guards and command your Mercenaries to attack them. Repeat this process three times with different groups of Mercenaries.
- Courtesan: Hire 3 groups of Courtesans and use them to distract 3 guards.
- Strategy: Similar to Mercenaries, find and hire a group of Courtesans (marked with a fan icon). Target three guards and command the Courtesans to distract them. Repeat three times with different groups.
- Thief: Hire 3 groups of Thieves and use them to distract 3 guards.
- Strategy: Locate and hire a group of Thieves (marked with a bag icon). Target three guards and command the Thieves to distract them. Repeat three times with different groups.
- High Roller: Win 500 Florins at the Fists of Fury.
- Strategy: The Fists of Fury is a fighting mini-game found in various taverns, particularly in Venice. Bet the maximum amount (usually 100 Florins) and win five rounds. If you're struggling, try to counter enemy attacks effectively.
- Street Cleaner: Hide 5 dead bodies in a bale of hay.
- Strategy: Kill a guard near a hay bale. Pick up their body (hold Circle/B) and then approach the hay bale. A prompt will appear to hide the body. Repeat five times. This is easily done in guard patrols near farms or stable areas.
Miscellaneous & Challenge Achievements
These achievements often involve unique interactions or reaching specific milestones.
- Perfect Harmony: Find all 8 Statues in Monteriggioni.
- Strategy: There are eight small statues hidden around the perimeter of the Villa Auditore in Monteriggioni. They are often tucked away in gardens or on ledges. Once found, place them on their pedestals in the Villa's garden. Each statue contributes to the Villa's income.
- Message Achieved: Intercept a Borgia Courier. (See "Mailman" for strategy)
- Art Forger: Buy a painting in Florence and Venice.
- Strategy: Visit an Art Merchant in Florence and purchase any painting. Then travel to Venice, find an Art Merchant there, and purchase another painting.
- Podestà of Monteriggioni: Reach 80% Villa value.
- Strategy: The Villa's value increases by collecting treasures, upgrading buildings (Bank, Blacksmith, etc.), and finding the Monteriggioni Statues. Focus on investing your Florins into the Villa's upgrades, as this is the most direct way to increase its value. The Bank upgrade is particularly useful as it generates passive income.
- Master Assassin: Unlock all other Trophies (PlayStation) / Earn all other Achievements (Xbox).
- Strategy: This is the ultimate completionist trophy/achievement, requiring you to unlock every other achievement in the game. Good luck, Assassin!
