No-Hitter
To unlock "No-Hitter," you must perform 10 stealth assassinations in a row without being detected. This achievement is more straightforward than it sounds, especially if you choose your targets wisely. Focus on isolated guards or patrols that are easily separated from groups. Rooftops are your best friend here, as they offer excellent vantage points and often allow for easy air assassinations without drawing attention.
- Strategy: Head to Venice or Florence. Look for guards patrolling alone on rooftops or in quiet alleyways.
- Execution: Use your Eagle Vision (press L3/LS) to identify patrol routes. Wait for a guard to be out of sight of others, then perform an air assassination or a hidden blade kill from a blend spot. Immediately move to a new blend spot or rooftop to avoid detection.
- Tip: If you are detected, even briefly, the counter resets. If you mess up, simply run away until you are anonymous, then try again. The achievement tracks cumulative stealth kills, so you don't need to do all 10 in one sitting.
Sweeper
The "Sweeper" achievement requires you to sweep 5 guards off their feet at once using a long weapon. This can be a bit tricky, as it requires a specific weapon type and a group of enemies. The best long weapons for this are spears or halberds, which can be disarmed from guards or found leaning against walls in guard posts.
- Strategy: Look for a group of at least 5 guards clustered together. Guard posts or areas where patrols converge are ideal.
- Execution: First, acquire a long weapon. Then, approach the group of guards. When they are close together, hold down the attack button (Square/X) to perform the sweeping attack. Ezio will spin the weapon, knocking down all nearby enemies.
- Recommended Location: The Ponte della Paglia in Venice (near the Doge's Palace) often has several guards clustered together on the bridge. Alternatively, look for guard patrols in the larger piazzas of Florence.
- Tip: You don't need to kill them, just knock them down. If you fail, run away to lose notoriety and try again.
Fly Swatter
For "Fly Swatter," you need to kick a guard off a high ledge. This achievement is all about timing and positioning. You'll need to find a guard patrolling a high rooftop or a narrow ledge with a significant drop below.
- Strategy: Climb to a high vantage point where guards are patrolling. The rooftops of Venice or Florence are perfect.
- Execution: Approach a guard from behind or from the side while he is near the edge. Target the guard, then press the unarmed attack button (Circle/B) to perform a kick. If positioned correctly, Ezio will kick the guard off the ledge.
- Recommended Locations: The rooftops around the Basilica di San Marco in Venice, or any tall building with patrolling guards in Florence. Look for guards standing near the edge of a building.
- Tip: Ensure there's a clear, long drop below. Kicking a guard off a low wall won't count. Sometimes, a simple tackle (run + Circle/B) near an edge can also achieve this.
