Armor provides crucial protection in combat. Your class determines your armor proficiencies, and wearing armor you're not proficient in can impose disadvantage on attack rolls and spellcasting.

Armor Types

  • Light Armor: Highest Dexterity bonus to AC (e.g., Leather Armor).
