Single Player Walkthrough - Operation Aurora
This walkthrough is done on 'Hard' difficulty. The respawn system differs from BC1; enemies respawn with you upon death.
Section 1: Rendezvous with Japanese Defector
Follow your squad, cross the river, and pick up a weapon. Continue following your squad, engaging Japanese soldiers. Be aware that enemies can sometimes appear to be down but will attack again. You can pick up the Type 97 Japanese rifle if you are familiar with WWII shooters. Climb the rope ladder and follow Mckee until a cutscene, then eliminate remaining enemies. Proceed through the bridge for another cutscene.
Section 2: Find a Transport
Follow your squad up the hill to the road. Use a grenade to clear enemies near a vehicle, then take cover and eliminate hostiles. Get into the jeep and use the .30 caliber gun to take out enemy soldiers and jeeps. Aim for the gunner first on enemy jeeps, then the vehicle itself.
Section 3: Escape the Island
Be cautious of machine gun nests and enemy ambushes. A quick trigger finger is advised.
