The assassination orders are among the most morally challenging and dangerous tasks you will face in Beholder: Conductor. These directives come directly from the highest echelons of the Ministry and require you to eliminate specific individuals deemed enemies of the state.

Each assassination order presents a unique target and requires careful planning and execution to avoid detection and maintain your cover. The consequences of failure are severe, often leading to your own demise.

• Order 1: "The Dissident Professor." Your first target is Professor Alistair Finch, a renowned academic who has been secretly publishing anti-Ministry pamphlets.
  • Location: Professor Finch's apartment, located on the third floor of the residential building.
  • Method A: Poison. Acquire a fast-acting poison (e.g., "Cyanide Capsule" from the Black Market for 1000 Reputation). Administer it to his food or drink when he is alone.
  • Method B: Staged Accident. Sabotage an appliance in his apartment (e.g., gas heater, electrical wiring) to create a fatal "accident." This requires a high Engineering skill.
  • Method C: Direct Confrontation. Break into his apartment and eliminate him directly. This is the riskiest method due to potential witnesses or resistance.
• Order 2: "The Foreign Spy." Your next target is Klaus Richter, a suspected foreign agent operating under the guise of a merchant.
  • Location: Klaus Richter's shop in the market district. He often frequents the back room.
  • Method A: Sniping. If you have access to a high-powered rifle and a vantage point (e.g., rooftop across the street), you can eliminate him from a distance. This requires precision and stealth.
  • Method B: Explosives. Plant a timed explosive device in his shop or vehicle. This requires careful timing to avoid collateral damage.
  • Method C: Frame-up. Plant incriminating evidence on Klaus Richter and tip off the Ministry of Security, leading to his arrest and subsequent "disappearance." This is a less direct but effective method.
• Order 3: "The Corrupt Official." The final, and often most complex, target is Minister Petrov, a high-ranking official who has been secretly siphoning funds from the Ministry.
  • Location: Minister Petrov's heavily guarded private estate.
  • Method A: Infiltration and Assassination. Gain access to the estate by impersonating staff, bribing guards, or finding a hidden entrance. Eliminate Petrov discreetly within his residence.
  • Method B: Political Maneuver. Gather irrefutable evidence of Petrov's corruption and leak it to a rival faction within the Ministry, leading to his downfall and execution by the state.
  • Method C: Remote Detonation. If you have previously planted a listening device or a small explosive in his office or vehicle, you can trigger it remotely.

Successfully carrying out assassination orders will earn you significant trust and rewards from the Ministry, often leading to promotions and access to restricted areas or information. Failing an order, or being discovered, will result in immediate arrest and execution.
