Spark Skill Points are crucial for character progression in Black Myth: Wukong. You gain a free Spark Skill Point by resting at a Meditation Spot. Before facing the final boss of a location, such as Lingxuzi, ensure all available Spark Skill points are spent and your best armor is equipped. Shrines offer the ability to reset your Skill Tree, allowing for experimentation with different abilities.
Spark Skill Point Acquisition and Usage
Spark Skill Points are essential for enhancing your character's abilities. Resting at a Meditation Spot rewards you with one free Spark Skill Point. These spots are found throughout each chapter of the game. Before engaging in significant encounters, such as the final boss Lingxuzi, it is beneficial to have spent all your accumulated Spark Skill Points to maximize your character's potential. Additionally, Shrines provide the option to reset your Skill Tree, enabling you to reallocate points and try out different ability combinations.
Exploration for Resources and Meditation Spots
As you navigate areas, look for opportunities to gather resources and activate Meditation Spots. For instance, after passing a wooden gate and taking the left path, you will encounter Wolf Scouts and Wolf Swordsworns. Along this path, an Aged Ginseng can be collected near a stone pillar. Further on, beyond another Wolf, you will reach a large wooden balcony overlooking a temple. Here, interact with a small orange pillow to activate a Meditation Spot. Near this balcony, smash pots to collect free Will and pick up a Gentian plant. A tunnel passage marked by torches opposite the balcony leads to a Shrine, where you can set Spells to your quickbar, reset your Skill Tree, and access the store for item transactions.
