From the first Shrine, proceed along the main path. You'll face a Wolf Swordsworn and a Wolf Soldier. The Wolf Soldier uses a shield; watch for his counterattack after deflecting your blows and aim for a perfect dodge. Cross the bridge and defeat another Wolf Soldier. In the open area, explore off the main path. To the left, a Wolf Stalwart guards a Purple Lingzhi. The path descends and splits again: left leads to a stream, right to a mini-boss.
Take the left path to the stream. Defeat a Wolf Swordsworn and collect a Gentian plant. Further down, a small Rat Guai will flee. Interact with the stone head to acquire the Skandha of Form Key Item. Head upstream for another Purple Lingzhi and two Wolf Scouts guarding a Gentian. In the wider part of the stream, defeat several Croaky enemies; remember they explode with poison gas upon death. Harvest Jade Lotus from the water. At the top of the stream, defeat a Crow Diviner Yaoguai, a challenging enemy with quick, powerful reverse blade attacks. Dodge its dashing strikes, two-hit combos, and leg swipes. Loot the Purple Lingzhi nearby. ore the green wisps for now, as they only provide a small amount of Will.
