During a fight, the Keeper intervenes, locking a creature in place and granting you the Immobilize spell. This spell binds enemies for a few seconds, allowing for attacks. Stronger enemies break free faster, and some Bosses resist it entirely. Use this new ability strategically against the Bullguard after the Keeper disappears.
Acquiring the Immobilize Spell
When the Bullguard's health is depleted by about half, it will parry your next attack and attempt a killing blow. The Keeper will intervene, using a spell to lock the creature in place. The Keeper then passes this spell to you, granting you your first Spell, Immobilize. This ability binds an enemy in place for a few seconds, providing time to land attacks before the effect wears off. Stronger enemies like the Bullguard will break out sooner than regular enemies, and certain Bosses can resist this spell entirely. After the Bullguard breaks free, the Keeper disappears, requiring you to use this new ability to defeat the boss. Be aware of the spell's cooldown and its magic meter consumption. Magic cannot be replenished unless resting at a Shrine.
Pathing After the Shrine
The main path through this area is direct. Follow the straightforward route past the first two Wolf guards near the Shrine, leading to an axe-wielding Wolf Stalwart by a small bridge over a stream. Continue straight through a tunnel, which is guarded by a formidable, but entirely optional, mini-boss known as the Wandering Wight.
