Shrine & Crow Diviner

Shrines are vital checkpoints in Black Myth: Wukong, serving as places to rest, replenish your healing gourd, and fast travel. Interacting with a Shrine also triggers the appearance of the Keeper of Black Wind Mountain, who acts as a guide and mentor. This section details the function of Shrines and the role of the Crow Diviner.

Upon defeating enemies and following the golden trail, you'll discover a Shrine located in a small rocky ravine. Resting at a Shrine refills your healing gourd and allows you to reset your Skill Tree, offering opportunities to experiment with different abilities. However, be aware that resting at a Shrine will cause some enemies to respawn in the area. After using the Shrine, the Keeper of Black Wind Mountain will appear. This NPC provides guidance, directing you towards Guanyin Temple and bestowing the Incense Trail Talisman, which allows for quick return to the last rested Shrine.

Continuing from the Shrine, you'll encounter Wolf Swordsworn and Wolf Soldiers. The Wolf Soldier's shield can deflect attacks and stagger you, making perfect dodges crucial for creating openings. A perfect dodge slows time and creates an after-image, enabling counterattacks and increasing your Focus. After defeating these enemies and crossing a bridge, you'll enter a more open area. Exploration off the main path can lead to valuable items and optional boss fights. For instance, a Wolf Stalwart might guard a Purple Lingzhi at the base of a large tree.
