Forsaken Cainhurst Castle is a majestic yet desolate optional area, home to the Vilebloods and a formidable boss. It's accessed via a hidden path.
Accessing Cainhurst Castle:
- Iosefka's Clinic Back Entrance: Access the back entrance of Iosefka's Clinic (from the Forbidden Woods) and find the Cainhurst Summons on a table.
- Hemwick Charnel Lane: Travel to the Witch's Abode Lantern in Hemwick Charnel Lane.
- Obelisk: Head to the large obelisk in the open area before the Witch's Abode. A cutscene will play, and a carriage will take you to Cainhurst.
Martyr Logarius Strategy:
Martyr Logarius is a challenging hunter-style boss found on the rooftops of Cainhurst Castle.
- Weakness: None specific, but parrying is highly effective.
- Attacks: Scythe attacks, arcane projectiles, skull projectiles, sword attacks.
- Strategy: Logarius has two phases. In the first phase, he uses mostly arcane attacks and scythe swings. Dodge his projectiles and try to get close for melee attacks. In the second phase, he becomes more aggressive and uses his sword. He can be parried in both phases, which is crucial for dealing significant damage. Be wary of his sword planted in the ground, which summons arcane projectiles; destroy it quickly.
