Wambus can be found tending his farm in the Scorched Gorge. He's initially quite hostile and distrustful. To gain his trust, you'll need to help him with his Bugsnax problem. He'll give you a series of tasks that involve catching specific Bugsnax native to the Gorge. Be prepared for some fiery encounters!
