This detailed guide will walk you through essential strategies to elevate your squad's synergy.

Effective Communication Protocols

Clear, concise, and timely communication is paramount. Avoid unnecessary chatter and focus on actionable information.

• Callouts:
  • Enemy Locations: Always specify direction (e.g., "Enemy on my ping," "Two enemies, north, by the Buy Station," "Sniper on the rooftop of Peak").
  • Enemy Status: "One cracked shield," "One down, pushing the other," "Full squad wiped."
  • Pings: use the contextual ping system extensively. Ping enemy locations, loot, contracts, and points of interest. A ping is often faster and clearer than a verbal description.
  • Loot Needs: "Need AR ammo," "Looking for a plate carrier," "Anyone have a Self-Revive?"
• Voice Chat Discipline:
  • Push-to-Talk (PTT): If possible, use PTT to prevent background noise from interfering with critical comms.
  • Keep it Brief: Get straight to the point. "Enemy pushing left" is better than a long-winded explanation.
  • Listen Actively: Pay attention to your teammates' callouts, even if you're not directly engaged.

Strategic Team Movement & Positioning

Moving as a cohesive unit is vital for survival and securing kills.

• Stick Together (But Not Too Close):
  • Maintain proximity to support each other in gunfights, but avoid clumping up, which makes your squad vulnerable to grenades, killstreaks like the Precision Airstrike or Cluster Strike, and concentrated fire.
  • A good rule of thumb is to stay within 20-30 meters of your closest teammate, depending on the terrain.
• Flanking & Cross-Fires:
  • When engaging an enemy squad, try to establish cross-fire angles. If one teammate is engaging from the front, another should attempt to flank from the side.
  • Communicate your flanking intentions: "I'm pushing left around the building," "Holding this angle while you flank right."
• High Ground Advantage:
  • Always prioritize securing high ground, especially in areas like Peak, Airport Control Tower, or the rooftops of Downtown buildings. This provides better visibility and cover.
  • Designate one player to hold a power position while others push or loot.

Loot Distribution & Resource Management

A well-equipped squad is a dangerous squad. Share resources intelligently.

• Ammunition:
  • Always drop ammo for teammates who need it, especially if you have an abundance. Check your squad's ammo counts regularly.
  • Prioritize sharing Sniper Ammo and Rocket Ammo as these are scarcer.
• Armor Plates:
  • If a teammate is low on plates, drop some for them. Having full armor is more important than one player hoarding all the plates.

  • One teammate should provide cover fire while another revives.
• Plates & Ammo After Revive:
  • Once a teammate is revived, immediately drop them some Armor Plates and relevant ammunition so they can re-engage quickly.
  • A Medic Perk (if available in a specific Warzone iteration) can speed up revives significantly.
• Gulag Strategy:
