Death, Dracula's loyal servant, is one of the most iconic and challenging bosses in Castlevania. He wields a scythe and summons smaller scythes that fly around the room.
Strategy: Death teleports around the room, throwing his large scythe. The scythe will fly in an arc and then return to him. He also summons smaller, homing scythes. The key to defeating Death is to learn his teleportation patterns and the trajectory of his scythe. The Holy Water sub-weapon is incredibly effective against Death, as it can hit him multiple times when he teleports into its area of effect. The Cross is also good for continuous damage. If you have Sypha, her Fire or Ice spells can deal massive damage. With Grant, you can climb the walls to avoid his attacks and get in hits. With Alucard, you can use his bat form to fly over him and attack. Prioritize dodging the large scythe and the smaller homing scythes. Be patient and persistent; Death is a war of attrition.
