Similar to Grant, Sypha is under Dracula's control and must be freed. She will attack you with various elemental spells: fireballs, ice shards, and lightning bolts. Her attacks are powerful and cover a wide area.
Strategy: Sypha teleports around the room, casting spells. Her spells are telegraphed, giving you a brief moment to react. The fireballs are straightforward to dodge, but the ice shards can freeze you, and the lightning bolts cover a large vertical area. Focus on dodging and getting in quick whip hits when she reappears. The Cross sub-weapon is highly effective here, as its boomerang path can hit her multiple times as she teleports. If you have the Axe, you can try to hit her as she teleports in. Once she takes enough damage, she will be freed and join your party. Her powerful magic will be a significant asset for future boss battles.
