Initial Descent and First Vestige

Upon entering the Town of Sacrifice, you'll find yourself in a ruined urban environment. The path ahead is relatively straightforward initially. Proceed forward, dealing with the scattered Lost. Your primary goal is to locate the Town of Sacrifice Mistle, which serves as your first checkpoint and fast travel point within the Depths. This Mistle is usually found near the initial spawn point, often slightly off the main path in a more open area.

• Item: Keep an eye out for a Pure Blood item located near the initial Mistle. This is a crucial crafting material.
• Strategy: The Lost here often patrol in small groups. use your companion's abilities for crowd control and focus fire on individual enemies to avoid being overwhelmed.

Navigating the Central Plaza

From the first Mistle, head towards the more open central plaza area. This section is characterized by collapsed buildings and debris. You'll encounter more aggressive Lost variants, including those with shields or faster attacks. Be prepared for ambushes.

• Path: Look for a path leading to the left from the central plaza. This often leads to a dead-end with valuable loot.
• Item: In this dead-end path, you can typically find a Queen Steel and a Loss Shard (L).
• Strategy: Use charged attacks or abilities that break guard against shielded enemies. Dodging and parrying are essential here due to the increased enemy aggression.

The Lower Streets and Second Vestige

Continue through the central plaza, looking for a descent into the lower streets. This area is often darker and more cramped, making visibility a challenge. Expect more challenging encounters, including larger Lost or those with ranged attacks.

• Vestige: Your next objective is to find the Town of Sacrifice Vestige Part A. This is usually located in a small, secluded alcove or behind some rubble in the lower street section. Restoring this Vestige will grant you access to powerful new Gifts.
• Item: Near Vestige Part A, you might also discover a Pure Blood.

Reaching the Boss Arena

After acquiring Vestige Part A, proceed deeper into the Depths. The path will become more linear, leading you towards the boss encounter. Expect a few final, tough enemy groups before reaching the arena.
