All Bosses: Locations, Strategies, and Item Drops

Drangleic is home to a formidable array of bosses, each presenting a unique challenge and guarding valuable rewards. Mastering their attack patterns and weaknesses is crucial for progression.

The Last Giant

Location: Forest of Fallen Giants.

This lumbering behemoth is your first major boss encounter. Its attacks are slow but devastating. Focus on dodging its wide swings and stomps. When it raises its leg to stomp, sprint away. Its weak point is its legs, but be wary of its grab attack. Upon defeat, you'll receive the Soul of the Last Giant.

Dragonrider

Location: Heide's Tower of Flame.

The Dragonrider is a relatively straightforward boss. He has a predictable attack pattern with wide sweeps and a charge. The arena is circular, so use the space to your advantage. Circle strafing is effective. Be mindful of the edges of the arena, as he can knock you off. Defeating him yields the Soul of the Dragonrider.

Flexile Sentry

Location: The Lost Bastille (Shipwreck).

This boss wields two different sets of weapons, changing its attack style. One form uses a mace and shield, the other uses twin scimitars. The scimitar form is more aggressive. Stay mobile and punish openings after its combos. The arena is a ship deck, so be careful not to fall off. Rewards include the Soul of the Flexile Sentry.

Ruins Sentinels

Location: The Bastille.

A trio of formidable knights. The key to this fight is managing aggro. Try to draw one or two away from the others. Their attacks are powerful and can stagger you easily. Parrying is highly effective if you can master it. The arena is relatively small, so positioning is key. You'll earn the Soul of the Lost Sinner upon victory.

The Rotten

Location: Black Gulch.

A grotesque, hulking creature that spews poison and unleashes powerful slams. The arena is filled with poison pools, so equip poison resistance or bring antidotes. The Rotten is slow, allowing for ample dodging opportunities. Its weak point is its head. Be cautious of its grab attack. The Soul of the Rotten is your reward.

Belfry Gargoyles

Location: Belfry Luna.

This boss fight involves multiple gargoyles attacking simultaneously. They breathe fire and have sharp claws. Focus on one at a time, using the pillars for cover. When more appear, prioritize taking them down quickly to avoid being overwhelmed. The Soul of the Belfry Gargoyle is dropped upon defeat.

Scorpioness Najka

Location: Shaded Woods.

Najka is a powerful sorceress who also wields a scorpion's tail. She utilizes both magic and melee attacks. She can summon sand to attack you. Ranged attacks are effective, but closing the distance to exploit her melee openings is also viable. Be prepared to dodge her spells and tail sweeps. The Soul of the Scorpioness Najka is obtained after the fight.

Mytha, the Baneful Queen

Location: Earthen Peak.

Mytha is a serpent-like queen who wields a poisoned dagger and casts spells. The arena is filled with poison. Burning the windmill outside the area before entering the boss fog will drain the poison, making the fight significantly easier. Focus on dodging her swift attacks and punishing her recovery frames. The Soul of Mytha, the Baneful Queen is your reward.
