The Boletarian Palace is a key location in Demon's Souls, featuring areas like the Gates of Boletaria, The Lord's Path, the Inner Ward, and The King's Tower. Players navigate a huge stone castle filled with hungry soldiers and terrible dragons. Exploration involves facing black phantoms, dodging dragon attacks, and finding important NPCs like Ostrava.
When exploring the Boletarian Palace, you will encounter several challenges and key objectives:
- Face three black phantoms upon entering an area.
- Take the alley to the right and climb the tower to the top.
- Dodge the Blue Dragon's attacks on the bridge to cross safely.
- An optional objective is to kill the Blue Dragon at the stairs, possibly with the aid of Biorr if he was rescued.
- Meet Ostrava, of Boletaria, to receive the Mausoleum Key.
- Defeat Black Phantom Ostrava.
- Ultimately, defeat Old King Allant.
Important Warning: Once Old King Allant is defeated, you must complete the playthrough, enter the next New Game (NG), and defeat Phalanx before you can level up with the Maiden In Black. All keys, rescued NPCs, and warp points reset in a new game, so finish all exploration and item collection before defeating Old King Allant.
