Last Wish Raid Guide
The Last Wish raid, a sprawling and challenging endgame activity, returns in the 2026 Expansion, pushing Guardians to their limits within the Dreaming City's corrupted heart. The initial encounter, the "Shuro Chi the Corrupted," requires a fireteam to defeat waves of Taken enemies while simultaneously disabling three Taken Ogres that are channeling energy. The Ogres must be killed in quick succession to prevent them from empowering Shuro Chi. The Taken Captains and Vandals in this encounter are particularly dangerous, utilizing their Void abilities to suppress Guardians. A Warlock's Stormcaller super can be highly effective for clearing out large groups of Taken adds and creating openings to focus on the Ogres.
The "Morgeth, the Spirekeeper" encounter is a test of endurance and coordination. Guardians must collect "Wisps of the Taken" to empower a single player who can then damage Morgeth. The arena is filled with powerful Taken enemies, including Taken Knights and Psions. You collecting the Wisps must be protected at all costs, as they are vulnerable. A Titan's Ward of Dawn can provide crucial survivability for the Wisp collector. The number of Wisps required increases with each phase, demanding increasingly efficient collection and protection. Communication is key to ensuring the Wisp collector is always safe and empowered.
The "Riven, the Heart of the Dreaming City" encounter is the raid's ultimate challenge, featuring a complex puzzle and a multi-stage boss fight. Guardians will need to navigate Riven's labyrinthine lair, solving a series of wishes and defeating powerful Taken entities. The mechanics involve identifying specific symbols and coordinating actions based on those symbols. The final boss fight against Riven herself requires precise damage phases and the ability to avoid her devastating attacks, including her powerful gaze. A Hunter's Golden Gun can provide significant burst damage during Riven's damage phases. Understanding the mechanics of the "heart" of Riven and the role of the "eyes" is critical for success. The use of heavy ammo synths and well-timed Supers is essential to overcome this formidable foe.
